BAGS OF STORIES

Bags of Stories brought women from diverse backgrounds together on International Women’s Day to share their stories and create bags of inspiration.

GOODNIGHT STORIES

A three minute audio-play of asylum seekers/refugee women’s stories, heard via a listening post (an armchair with headphones) at Nexus Art Café. An exhibition accompanied the audio installation, the women who took part represented their dreams in miniature bags, on miniature easels and door keys, to promote a wider community understanding. Nexus Art Café, in Manchester, is an alcohol-free space open at night, providing a valuable space for vulnerable women.
